Soft overcast light and a beautiful park with lots of photo locations made for a great afternoon hanging out with the Dick family! Kim and I go WAY BACK… friends since we were little ones in Sunday School, team mates in Friday Night Basketball (coached by her dad!) and high school basketball, to even marrying into the same family (her hubby and my hubby are cousins)… that’s the town of Abbotsford for ya ;) Anyways, Kim and her siblings had gifted her mom an empty frame for mother’s day… well, from what I hear, it had a stick person drawing of a family photo in it! But it was meant to have an updated family shot in it! So Kim organized to get the whole group together, and we met up at a local park in Abbotsford for some shots! Hopefully now she can fill that frame with an actual photo ;)

As you can tell, I love tall grass… he he! It’s like they’re lost in the middle of nowhere! ;)
These two lovebirds are getting married in a few weeks… can’t wait to photograph their special day!!

Kim brought along one of Noah’s favourite books so Grandma and Grandpa could read to him! So sweet!

They had eyed up the power lines for a few group shots, so they climbed one of the towers… and it made for a pretty fun family photo I must say! :)
And once the family shots were done, we sqeezed in a few of just Jamie, Kim and Noah since it had already been a year since I photographed them last!!
